LED Display Manufacturing Plant Covered by Online Media

The recent inauguration of Ösel state-of-the-art LED display manufacturing plant in Greater Noida was covered extensively by the media including renowned web news portals like DilliPatrika.com. This was after all, a major milestone in the LED display panels industry in India as it is the first time that such an advanced manufacturing plant has been set up here for production of LED display systems. Currently, this market in India is almost entirely dependent on costly and complex imports offering unreliable servicing support. Hence, Ösel has undertaken a remarkable Make in India initiative, which the media noticed.

World-class products at reasonable cost

One of the main reasons for Indian out of home (OOH) display industry still continuing with static PVC flex displays is, higher cost of top quality LED display panels as currently, they are all imported. Now, Ösel’s advanced manufacturing capability will tackle this situation with indigenously produced world-class products backed by best-in-class servicing support. This will go a long way in reassuring the customers in the Indian OOH industry about the better affordability and reliability of digital display products produced in India.

Boost for digitization and environmental protection

The indigenous manufacture of LED display panels has boosted the union government’s ‘Make in India’ program. As a result, when the use of digital displays will increase in India, it will boost the government’s ‘Digital India’ campaign in a sector which is overwhelmingly dependent on static PVC flex displays. The union government has recently launched a ‘war against single use plastic (SUP)’. PVC flex sheets that are used to display static ads and messages, are variants of SUP and replacement of PVC flex sheets by digital displays will boost this campaign against SUP.

Hence, Ösel is at the forefront of three flagship campaigns of the government of India and this in itself, is a newsworthy development that the media covered extensively.
